Knowledgable, complient & accurate Business Activity Statements (BAS) for all businesses. Have confidence that you won't get a knock on the door from the government.
Business activity statements (BAS) are a requirement, by law, for businesses registered for GST. To do so, they have two choices. The first option is an internal staff member. This can work. But the employee needs experience with BAS work and will need to keep up with the changing laws. If not, your business is at risk.
The preferred option is to hire a registered BAS agent. The Australian Government requires all BAS agents to be registered. Registration requires over 1400 hours’ experience and a Cert IV in bookkeeping. They also must complete ongoing study, have PI insurance & a professional membership.
